Putin Explains Why He Did Not Meet Erdogan

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that he plans to visit Turkey next year, where he will meet with the country's leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The two leaders are expected to discuss the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

“President Erdogan and I are in constant contact on this issue (regarding the Palestinian conflict). Our positions are very similar. I believe we will be able to meet. I really planned for this, and I intended to do it recently, but President Erdogan was unable to due to scheduling issues, although I was ready to fly to Turkey. We agreed that this visit could take place early next year,” Putin said during a direct line with citizens.
