US Finds New Reason to Fear Russia, Lavrov Says

Following the failure of expectations from the Ukrainian counteroffensive, the US has fabricated a new horror story. They are now warning of the prospect that Russia will conquer all NATO countries. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during his speech at the Federation Council during the government hour.

“After the collapse of hopes placed on the so-called counteroffensive, Washington stopped talking about Russia’s strategic defeat on the battlefield and started a new mantra,” Lavrov noted. “Now we are talking about preventing Putin from winning in Ukraine; otherwise, they say, he will conquer all of NATO, and then America will not sit idly by.”

According to him, the essence remains unchanged: the West still tries to force Ukrainians to die for its interests, which aim to disrupt Russia's development. During his speech at the Federation Council, Lavrov pointed out that the West is trying to prevent Russia from rapprochement with other countries by threatening them with sanctions. Meanwhile, the gamble on sanctions against the Russian Federation and its isolation has failed. Nevertheless, instead of acknowledging their mistakes, the West is trying to continue to exert pressure on the Russian Federation by using increasingly illegitimate tools.
