VIDEO: "You’ve Fallen Behind Me" - Alen Simonyan to Journalist
Currently, we are waiting; I believe we will have information in the near future, and I am optimistic. The agreement that has been reached hasn't undergone any changes, and the process is underway. This was stated by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, during a conversation with journalists regarding the return of 32 prisoners from Baku.
“We are not avoiding any communication, but as for who Baku considers impartial, I cannot say, as they have refused to engage in various negotiations through different platforms and at different times,” Simonyan commented, addressing Baku's proposal to involve a third impartial party in the negotiations.
In response to a journalist's question about why he did not announce the closure of the National Assembly's autumn session, which was to be concluded with the national anthem of Armenia, Simonyan replied: “It’s not yet over; it’s not like it has ended just because I haven’t played the anthem. Let’s not create new intrigue.”
