Today morning, the EU Foreign Ministers' Council meeting began under the chairmanship of Josep Borrell, the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. As part of the council meeting, an informal breakfast was held, attended by Armenia's foreign minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

“This is a good opportunity to present what today’s Armenia is like, what challenges and also opportunities, aspirations we have. This is a good chance to introduce what vision we have for deepening relations with the EU, to talk about what has been done between Armenia and the EU so far. This is also a good opportunity to express our gratitude to the EU for supporting our democratic reforms, the refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh, and the peace process in the South Caucasus,” said Armenia's Foreign Minister in a press briefing before attending the informal breakfast.
