Moscow, Tehran, and Beijing Would Be Happy If Ukraine's Aid Isn't Approved: Blinken

“The additional aid from the U.S. Congress is vital for Ukraine,” said Secretary of State Antony Blinken. In an interview with CNN, he responded to a question regarding the situation in Ukraine and Israel if a decision is not made by the end of 2023. “I believe the only individuals who would be pleased if this additional budget request is not voted on and approved by Congress are sitting in Moscow, Tehran, and Beijing,” he stated.

Blinken noted that Ukrainians have made significant progress over the past year in pushing back against Russian aggression, but heavy fighting continues in the south and east, while funding is running low.
