VIDEO: When Will Armenia Sign the Peace Treaty? Khandanyan Outlines the Condition

The Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the National Assembly, Sargis Khandanyan, stated that negotiations regarding the peace treaty should be based on the principles agreed upon by the parties in July of this year. He made this remark during a conversation with reporters.

Khandanyan mentioned that Armenia considers the possibility of signing the peace treaty in the near future. "We are constructive, but the document must have a form that Armenia can sign," he emphasized.

The deputy also noted that Armenia will sign the peace treaty when it is confident that it will be to Armenia's benefit. He added that Azerbaijan's early elections should not be a reason for delaying the signing of the peace treaty.
