VIDEO: They Are Everything Except a Faction, They Are Probably Not Even a Political Force: Ruben Rubinyan on 'Honorary' Party

The election of Manvel Badalyan as a member of the Competition Protection Commission has taken place. After the vote, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan made an extraordinary speech, stating that the 'Honorary' party did not participate in the voting of the unified candidate agreed upon and nominated by the two opposition factions.

"What happened in this hall is a new discovery in parliamentary history. There is no better testament to our claims that our opposition factions, especially one of them recently, are not engaging in political activities, but are involved in trolling, spoiling, and spamming. I don’t know, they are everything except a faction, they are probably not even a political force. It can now be officially stated that this political force ended with what seems to be a trivial, insignificant incident. I am simply astonished. And I believe this day should enter the history of world parliamentarism," said Rubinyan.

Rubinyan also announced that the 'Civil Contract' faction voted in favor of the opposition's candidate.
