Train Drivers in Germany Announce 24-Hour Strike

Train drivers in Germany are staging a 24-hour strike. The Deutsche Bahn railway company has urged passengers on its website to postpone their journeys.

As of December 7 at 6:00 PM, the movement of freight trains will be restricted. According to the GDL union, this is the last strike of the year. However, if no compromise is reached by the beginning of 2024, the drivers intend to hold "longer and more intensive strikes."
