Ogün Samast, who spent 16 years in prison for the murder of journalist Hrant Dink, has returned to court in Turkey facing accusations of being a member of the terrorism-designated Gülen movement.

According to Turkish news outlet BirGun, hearings for a new case against Samast have commenced at the 14th Criminal Court of Serious Crimes in Istanbul. He is charged with being a member of the terrorist group and carrying out the assassination of Dink under orders from that organization.
