3.8 Million AMD Fine for Violations at Construction Sites

The Environmental and Mining Inspection Body conducted monitoring activities aimed at reducing atmospheric dust emissions between August 18 and December 1, 2023. During this period, 37 instances of legal violations were recorded in Yerevan and other regions of Armenia.

A total administrative fine of 3,800,000 AMD was imposed for violations related to construction activities, including the transportation of bulk materials using freight vehicles without opaque covers, which did not comply with atmospheric air protection requirements.

Strict inspections and awareness-raising efforts are ongoing.
