VIDEO: The CP will not hold power in Alaverdi. Tense situation at the Alaverdi City Hall

The CP faction in the Alaverdi City Council has initiated a motion of no confidence against the mayor Arakadi Tamazyan from the "Country of Living" party. Residents of Alaverdi are holding a protest against this initiative of the council. Currently, a large number of police officers are not allowing city hall employees to enter the building.

The CP has submitted a decision to the council regarding the no-confidence motion against the mayor, which is set to be discussed in the meeting agenda. Mayor Arakadi Tamazyan has stated that the CP is attempting to remove him from office unlawfully.

It has been reported that rescuers broke open the door to the consultation room to allow CP council members to start the impeachment process to remove Tamazyan from his position as mayor.
