Farmers and butchers in the Ararat region are opposing the mandatory slaughterhouse requirements that will come into effect on December 6. Today, they have blocked the Artashat-Yerevan highway.

It is worth noting that starting December 6, new regulations for the sale of slaughterhouse meat will be implemented, which prohibits the sale of animal-origin raw materials and products obtained from non-slaughterhouse slaughter. In case of detection, the entire batch will be confiscated and destroyed.
