Production Activities of Bakery and Public Catering Object Suspended in Lori

During an inspection at a bakery and public catering facility owned by 'Em-Go' LLC, inspectors from the Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia’s Shirak regional center discovered that the establishment was operating in violation of established sanitary and hygienic norms (Lori region, Shenq). Specifically:

  • The floor, wall surfaces, and ceiling of the bakery were not in a renovated condition.
  • No defined frequency existed for the cleaning, washing, and disinfection processes of production buildings, technological equipment, and property.
  • Some equipment, including the external surface of the oven, shelves, and bread baking racks, were in unsatisfactory condition, hindering proper cleaning and disinfection.
  • The kitchen walls and floor of the public catering facility lacked a smooth surface, were not in a renovated condition, and did not allow for proper cleaning and disinfection.
  • The public catering establishment was not equipped with a dressing room for the staff.

The operator’s production activities have been suspended, and a deadline has been set to remedy the identified violations.
