Zelensky Claims Russian Army Ranks Fourth in Power Globally
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has unofficially ranked the Russian army as the second strongest in the world during an interview with the Associated Press. "We are fighting against the world's second (best) army," he stated.
At the same time, the Ukrainian leader expressed dissatisfaction with the heavy losses suffered by the country’s armed forces. "We are losing people; I am not satisfied," Zelensky remarked.
In his assessment, Kyiv has never received the weapons it intended to acquire. He believes that a lack of arms and personnel has hindered achieving the desired results in the armed conflict. When asked if he is pleased with the outcomes of the counter-offensive, the president gave a complex response, saying that he "cannot be satisfied but cannot be overly dissatisfied either."
“Look, we are not retreating, and I am satisfied,” he concluded.
