“The West Does Not Need a Great Power Like Russia,” Says Putin

During a speech at the World Council of the Russian People, President Vladimir Putin stated that what is happening in Ukraine is directed not only against Russians but against all the peoples of the Russian Federation. His remarks were quoted by TASS.
“Russophobia and other forms of racism have become the ideology of the West. They are directed against all the peoples of Russia,” he said.
The Russian leader noted that the West does not want a great Russia. He emphasized that the West seeks to divide and plunder the Russian Federation.
