“The Closure of Any Checkpoint at Lars Will Not Affect Us” Says Araik Harutyunyan

It is now extremely important for Armenians, both in Armenia and in the diaspora, to find exclusively Armenian-made products. This was stated by Araik Harutyunyan, the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister of Armenia, on his Facebook page.

“Agricultural products, beverages, and services provided by Armenian companies. Supporting businesses and taxpayers in this way is vital for strengthening independence and sovereignty. The closure of any checkpoint at Lars will not affect us if Armenian businesses find new markets for our compatriots living abroad, both during the holidays and at other times,” Harutyunyan wrote.

He emphasized that holiday tables for New Year and Christmas must exclusively feature Armenian-produced vegetables, fruits, wine, brandy, and other agricultural products.
