Snow Falling in Some Regions; Stepanavan-Larsi Highway Closed

The territory of Armenia is experiencing road closures due to snow. The emergency service has announced that the road from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Kari Lake is currently closed.

Snow is falling in the area known as "Meghruni Sar" and in the town of Goris, where fog is also present.

Regarding the Larsi situation, according to information received from the Emergency Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepanavan-Larsi highway is closed to all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to use only winter tires while traveling.
