North Korea Claims Its Satellite Has Photographed the White House and the Pentagon

North Korea asserts that its reconnaissance satellite captured images of the White House, the Pentagon, and U.S. aircraft carriers at the Norfolk naval base, according to Reuters.
“North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has received photographs of the White House, the Pentagon, and U.S. Navy aircraft carriers at the Norfolk naval base taken by a spy satellite,” the agency reports, citing the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
Later reports indicated that North Korea's satellite photographed a total of five aircraft carriers, including four American and one British vessel. Additionally, North Korea stated that it secured images of the Andersen Air Force Base on Guam, a Virginia airport, and the Newport News shipyard.
