Armenia Has Drawn a Red Line for Itself: National Assembly President

Armenia has already drawn a red line for itself, which is the territory of 29,800 square kilometers. This was stated by the President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, during a briefing with reporters.

Alen Simonyan expressed confusion about what Azerbaijan would gain by avoiding various formats of negotiations regarding a peace treaty with Armenia and prolonging the process. "The red line is drawn, and no part of Armenia's sovereign territory will be conceded. They often talk about four villages, but we have 31 villages whose territories are either entirely or partially under Azerbaijani occupation. We should now address the situation regarding these 31 villages," he emphasized.

It is noteworthy that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has recently been refusing to participate in negotiations initiated on Western platforms.
