Julya
Argentina's newly elected president Javier Milei is preparing to embrace Judaism, according to American news agency Bloomberg, citing sources close to the elected president of the South American country.
Upon arriving in New York, Milei visited the grave of the famous rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson in the Queens neighborhood, the agency reported.
Bloomberg recalls that during his campaign, Milei promised to strengthen ties between Argentina and Israel. It is noted that Argentina has the largest Jewish population in the region and could become Israel's main ally in Latin America.
