VIDEO: A 7-8 Point Storm Rages in Georgia
A powerful storm rated at 7-8 points has struck the Black Sea coast of Georgia. As a result of the storm, coastal infrastructure in Batumi and Kobuleti has been damaged.
According to meteorologists, the bad weather in Georgia is expected to continue until November 29. Batumi International Airport is operating normally despite the adverse conditions.
"All flights are operating on schedule. There have been no delays. What will happen with future flights depends on the weather, and we cannot speculate at this point," said airport staff to Sputnik's Georgian service.
