Why Power Was Cut During Government Meeting: "Pats"
"Pats" newspaper reports: "The day before yesterday, during the government meeting, there was a temporary power outage, which prompted Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to express his frustration. He specifically mentioned that 'there are issues with electricity in Armenia' and added that the lights in his office are 'constantly flickering.'"
In connection with the power outage, the newspaper contacted 'Armenian Electric Networks' to understand the reason for the disconnection. 'The outage was due not to our operations but to a systemic problem that occurred in the high-voltage electricity networks, which resulted in power cuts across many areas of our republic, including the government building. Therefore, it was not related to the operations of AEN and consequently fell outside of our company’s responsibility,' said AEN's Technical Director David Grigoryan in response to the inquiry from "Pats" newspaper. More details in today's issue of the newspaper.
