One of the Victims of the Yerevan State University Fire Suffers from Chemical Burns: Details from the Medical Center

Following the explosion at Yerevan State University, one of the victims transferred to the Armenia Medical Center is suffering from chemical burns.

This information was disclosed to the media by the deputy director of the surgical department, Ashot Kurghinyan. He stated, “One person's condition is extremely severe, as he has chemical burns. He has sustained injuries to his upper limbs, face, and head. Sixty percent of his body has been burned.”

The doctor noted that his life is currently in danger, and he is in the intensive care unit.

The condition of another victim is categorized as moderate. He underwent appropriate examinations at the medical center and has been sent to the National Burn Center.
