Injured in Yerevan State University Fire Are Administrative Staff: Details

The injured individuals from the fire that broke out at Yerevan State University are administrative staff members. This was reported to Auroranews by the university's spokesperson Khnar Misakyan.

One of the injured is a police officer. This information was shared by Shushan Danielyan, head of the staff at Yerevan State Medical University.

The injured individual has been transferred to the "Heratsi" university hospital. Medical experts assess the condition as satisfactory.

It should be noted that the fire erupted in one of the basement rooms of the first building of YSU, after which an explosion occurred. According to preliminary assessments, the fire was caused by fluctuations in the electrical current.

The Ministry of Health has reported that there is one fatality and several injured as a result of the explosion.
