Condition of Victims from Yerevan State University Fire Revealed

This morning, two individuals were transferred to a burn care center following an explosion in the basement of the chemical faculty at Yerevan State University.

According to the burn center, the victims are a 70-year-old and a 66-year-old. "We have provided them with bandaging and sent them to Armenia Medical Center, as they suffered polytrauma, multi-fragment injuries, and third-degree chemical burns," the center reported.

The Ministry of Health has also indicated that the health condition of one of the three victims is assessed as extremely critical and is currently in the intensive care unit. The condition of the other victim is moderate, while the third is satisfactory.
