Video: Major Fire at Coal Facility in China Results in 11 Fatalities
In Shanxi province in northern China, a fire that broke out in a coal facility has resulted in the deaths of 11 individuals, with 51 others hospitalized, according to reports from China Central Television. The information was relayed by RIA Novosti.
The exact number of people present in the four-story building located in the Lishi district of Lyuliang city is currently unknown. Emergency responders were able to rescue 63 individuals, of whom 51 were subsequently transferred to the hospital.
The causes of the fire remain unclear, and an investigation is underway.
