War Investigation Commission Awaits Answers from Last President of Artsakh: Kocharyan
The parliamentary investigation commission examining the circumstances of the 44-day war has today sent a written letter to the last president of Artsakh, Samvel Shahramanyan, and is now awaiting his response. This was reported by the commission chairman Andranik Kocharyan to "Azatutyun".
"We just sent the letter to the representative headquarters of Artsakh and are waiting for him at the inquiry commission," said Andranik Kocharyan.
Earlier, Kocharyan stated to "Azatutyun" that they intended to invite Shahramanyan to the parliamentary commission investigating the circumstances of the 44-day war. They had also sought to summon former president Arayik Harutyunyan and Jalal Harutyunyan, who led the Artsakh Defense Army during the war. However, the former president is imprisoned in Baku, and for the former commander of the Defense Army, there is an obstacle due to his criminal case.
The commission chairman mentioned that as a result of discussions, they decided to seek answers to several questions from the last president of Artsakh, Samvel Shahramanyan, instead of Jalal Harutyunyan and Arayik Harutyunyan.
