VIDEO: Macron in Uzbekistan as Presidential Talks Begin
The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, has traveled from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the Uzbekistan government and conveyed by RIA Novosti.
“A ceremonial reception has taken place in Samarkand for the French President Emmanuel Macron, where the two presidents toured the night-time city of Samarkand, after which high-level negotiations commenced,” the statement said.
According to the visit’s agenda, discussions will focus on the further development of Uzbek-French relations in the fields of trade, economic, innovation, investment, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.
The leaders of Uzbekistan and France will also participate in a joint business forum attended by leading companies and banking and financial organizations from both countries.
