VIDEO: "There’s no such thing, eeeh, do you believe it?" - Minister of Internal Affairs on Trafficking of Police

During the discussion of the draft state budget for 2024, Minister of Internal Affairs Vahe Ghazaryan presented the fight against trafficking.

Member of the "Armenia" faction Gegham Manukyan stated that police officers are subjected to trafficking by being forced to write statements.

After the session, journalists asked the minister if there is indeed trafficking involved, and why he seems so harsh regarding the police. Vahe Ghazaryan responded, "There’s no such thing, eeeh, do you believe it?"

The Chairman of the Committee on Defense and Security Andranik Kocharyan countered, asking if the opposition has been subjected to trafficking. Minister Ghazaryan assured that a criminal proceeding has been initiated regarding the actions of the police.
