Details on the Health Condition of 11-Year-Old Girl Injured by Gunfire

The Mother of God Medical Center has issued a statement regarding the health condition of an 11-year-old girl who was injured by gunfire in Akhuryan today:

“The child was transferred to the medical center from the Austrian Children’s Hospital in Gyumri, where an examination revealed a foreign object—specifically a bullet—in the right lung area, as well as a contusion of the soft tissues in the chest. It is noted that surgical intervention is not currently required, and the child's condition is assessed as serious but stable,” the medical facility reports.

It is recalled that yesterday in the Akhuryan community of Shirak Province, a 13-year-old boy fired a pneumatic gun at the 11-year-old girl.
