Citizen Leaves Weapons and Ammunition on the Side of the Road

The officers of the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia received operational information regarding an unidentified citizen who left weapons and ammunition on the right side of the road leading from Geghashen village to Zvokh village in the Kotayk Province.

Upon arriving at the specified location, the officers identified submachine guns, a rifle, grenades without fuses, and magazines.

The Military Police of Armenia reports that efforts to detect unlawfully held weapons and ammunition will continue. They also urge individuals holding illegal firearms to voluntarily surrender them to Military Police territorial units to avoid criminal liability.
