According to the ranking published by the US News & World Report magazine, Russia ranks first in the list of countries with the strongest armed forces. The information was conveyed by TASS.

The publication notes that the military strength of countries was assessed based on the opinions of participants in a global survey.

The United States secured the second place in the ranking of countries with the strongest armies, while China comes in third. Israel holds the fourth position, followed by South Korea in fifth place. Ukraine ranks sixth in the rating.

The top ten strongest military forces also include Iran, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Turkey.
