Israeli Army Eliminates Hamas Battalion Commander
The Israeli army has announced the elimination of a Hamas battalion commander. This information was reported by the Israel Defense Forces on their Telegram channel. The details were echoed by RIA Novosti.
“Yesterday, based on intelligence from the Israel Defense Forces and the ISA (Israel Security Agency), Israeli fighter jets struck Nasim Abu Ajina, the commander of Hamas's Northern Brigade in Beit Lahiya, who led the massacre in Kibbutz Erez and Moshav Netiv HaAsara on October 7. Previously, Abu Ajina was responsible for Hamas’s aerial operations and was involved in the development of the terrorist organization’s drones and gliders,” the Israeli military's statement read.
The statement also noted that Abu Ajina had participated in the development of UAVs and gliders for Hamas. “His elimination significantly damages the efforts of the Hamas terrorist organization to disrupt the ground operations of the Israel Defense Forces,” the announcement concluded.
