Body of a Man Found at a School: Criminal Proceedings Initiated on Suspicion of Murder

On October 25, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 6:20 AM, a report was received at the Mashtots Division of the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia from the 2nd substation of Yerevan's emergency medical services, stating that the emergency response team was dispatched to 5 Beknazaryan Street at Gevorg Chavush Secondary School No. 188, where a man's body had been discovered.

According to Shamshyan's reports, police and investigators have determined that the deceased is 67-year-old Garnik H., a resident of Yerevan. Preliminary findings from the forensic expert suggest that there are no signs of violence on the body based on an external examination. An autopsy has been ordered by the investigator.

A criminal case has been initiated in the investigative department on the grounds of suspected murder. Sources indicate that the deceased worked at the mentioned school as a guard.
