‘Received humanitarian aid is a drop in the ocean’: Gaza’s healthcare system has collapsed
The healthcare system in the Gaza Strip has completely collapsed, with medications for cancer and diabetes running out, reported Palestinian Health Minister Mai Al-Kaila to RIA Novosti.
“The healthcare system has completely collapsed; medications for the treatment of cancer, diabetes, and renal failure have been depleted, and there is a severe shortage of medical supplies,” Al-Kaila stated.
She emphasized the urgent need for fuel supplies to restore the operations of key medical facilities in Gaza.
“The humanitarian aid received is a drop in the ocean; it is necessary to ensure safe corridors for its delivery,” added the minister.
