Photo: Iraqi Shia Groups Claim Successful Strike on US Military Base in Syria

Iraqi Shia factions have announced a successful strike on a US military base in Syria.

The Khirab al-Jir base in northeastern Syria was hit directly by missiles. According to the Pars Today Russian Telegram channel, Iraqi resistance forces have officially claimed responsibility for the attack on two American bases in Syria.

“The Islamic resistance mujahideen of Iraq successfully launched attacks on two bases of the American occupation in Syria—Hakal al-Omari and al-Shaddadi—using several unmanned aerial vehicles,” the statement said.
