The Russian Ministry of Defense has referred to Artsakh as the "Economic Region of the Republic of Azerbaijan" in its daily report on the activities of the Russian peacekeeping force in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.

"Continuous cooperation with Baku is maintained to prevent bloodshed, ensure security, and uphold humanitarian law for the civilian population. No violations of the ceasefire regime have been recorded in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping force," the report states.

In the report, Stepanakert is referred to as Khankendi, Martakert as Agdere, Martuni as Khojavend, Shushi as Shusha, and Ivanyan as Khojalu.

"To ensure the safety of movement along the roads, six checkpoints have been installed, including two jointly with the Azerbaijani side," the report adds.
