Israeli Minister Compares Hamas Fighters to Nazis

The Israeli Minister of Energy, Israel Katz, has compared Hamas fighters to Nazis and proposed that members of the organization should be tried as Nazis, which could allow for the death penalty to be imposed on them. This was reported by the Times of Israel.

According to the publication, this statement was made in a letter Katz sent to Israeli Justice Minister Yariv Levin.

"The actions of these despicable Hamas criminals, who have decapitated and mutilated, tortured, burned, and raped, are no less serious than the actions of the Nazis," the newspaper quotes from his message.
