Hamas Responds to Israeli Minister's Comment on Possible Use of Nuclear Weapons

Statements made by an Israeli minister regarding the possibility of a nuclear strike on the Gaza Strip reflect the terrorism perpetrated against the Palestinian people by this government and its leaders. This was stated by Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem, as reported by RIA Novosti.

Qassem's statement, published on the movement's Telegram channel, noted that the so-called Heritage Minister's comments about a potential nuclear strike on Gaza are indicative of unprecedented criminal terrorism being wielded against our Palestinian people by this fascist government and its leaders.

The Hamas representative also highlighted that such statements stem from the complete support of the United States for Israel's actions in Gaza.

Earlier, it was reported that while speaking on Kol Berama radio, in response to a question about whether a nuclear strike should be considered against the Palestinian enclave, Eliyahu indicated that "it is one of the possible options." The minister later remarked that "it is clear to any reasonable person that the claim about the atomic bomb is metaphorical."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the Heritage Minister Amihai Eliyahu's comments regarding the possibility of dropping a nuclear bomb on the Gaza Strip. It should be noted that Prime Minister Netanyahu also removed Heritage Minister Eliyahu from government meetings in an untimely manner.
