Armenia is acquiring an anti-drone system from India. This was reported by the Eurasian Times, citing its sources.
According to the publication, Armenia has signed a contract to purchase the Zen anti-drone system developed by India, valued at $41.5 million. This includes the anti-drone system as well as the training of soldiers.
The publication notes that the anti-drone system developed by Zen Technologies identifies and classifies UAVs, detects passive reconnaissance conducted by them, and neutralizes the threat by disrupting the communication systems of the UAVs.
Zen Technologies announced that approval was granted for the establishment of a branch in Armenia during a council meeting held on October 28, 2023.
