Armenia to Purchase 3 GM 200 Radars and Mistral Missiles

Armenia will acquire three GM 200 radars and Mistral missiles manufactured by the French Thales Group for air defense purposes. Today in Paris, Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan and French Armed Forces Minister Sébastien Lecornu signed the respective agreements.

“No one can blame you for defending yourself, and it is enough for someone to attack you,” Sébastien Lecornu said while outlining the details of the military cooperation to Suren Papikyan. According to him, the French defense systems will enable the neutralization of drone and missile attacks, protecting not only the military but also the civilian population.
