Video: Strong Explosion in a Residential Building in Tbilisi

An explosion occurred in one of the apartments of a multi-story residential building in the Vazisubani district of Tbilisi. This has been reported by the Georgian television channel Rustavi-2.

According to the channel, the explosion might have been caused by a gas water heater. A fire broke out in the apartment following the explosion.

Emergency rescue services are already present at the scene. Local residents reported that an ambulance transported two injured individuals to a clinic, but the extent of their injuries remains unclear.

No official comments have yet been made by the Emergency Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia regarding the explosion.
