VIDEO: Powerful Explosion at Oil Refinery Compound; Suspected UAV Attack in Russia

A powerful explosion occurred in the territory of the Afipskoye oil refinery in the Seversk region of Krasnodar Krai, eyewitnesses have reported to SHOT.

The incident took place around 03:20. Local residents stated that they heard a noise similar to that of a "harvester" just before the explosion. There is a hypothesis that the refinery was subjected to a drone attack.

No official information is available yet, and there are no reports of casualties or injuries.

This is not the first instance of a drone attack on the Afipskoye oil refinery; a similar incident occurred on May 31 of this year.
