Hamas to Transfer 50 Hostages to Red Cross in a Few Hours

Negotiations for the transfer of detainees to their homes, with the involvement of Qatar, are nearing completion. Hamas is expected to hand over approximately 50 foreign hostages to the Red Cross within the next few hours, as reported by i24news.

The approximate location for the hostage transfer has been designated as southern Khan Younis, where the Israeli Defense Forces have ceased shelling to facilitate the operation. According to media reports, Palestinian militants are anticipating receiving fuel in exchange for the individuals.

In the Gaza Strip, the number of Israeli hostages is a little over 200. Hamas has released five individuals, including two American women, for “humanitarian reasons,” along with an Israeli woman and her two small children. Israeli military strikes on Gaza have also claimed hostage lives, with around 20 confirmed fatalities among them.
