Turkologist Varujan Geghamyan's Telegram post states, "In Turkey, the topic of the 'Zangezur Corridor' is gradually becoming a crucial part of the public agenda, thanks to the efforts made by the authorities. This is further evidenced by the fact that opposition parties are also actively engaged in raising this issue.

Recently, the leader of the opposition nationalist 'IYI' Party, Meral Akşener, referenced the corridor during a party meeting, saying, 'A direct and uninterrupted connection will be established between Azerbaijan and Turkey, and thus a historic step will be taken for the unification of the Turkic world through the opening of the Zangezur Corridor.'

'The Zangezur Corridor' is currently one of the most significant issues in the entire Middle East, and any solution to this matter will impact the entire region. For Turkey, this represents a historical opportunity to realize the 'unification of the Turkic world'—pan-Turkism. This is precisely why the entire Turkish political sphere speaks of the necessity of opening the corridor."
