Snoop Dogg Has Received Full Payment But Will Come and Sing 'For Free' When Available: 'Hraparak'
When the tension in Armenia and around the country eases, American rapper and music producer Snoop Dogg will come to perform his postponed concert, according to Makar Petrosyan, co-founder of the 'Doping Space' company.
According to him, the mega-star could have completely canceled the performance and said, 'You've paid me, so I won't come.' But no, he is not rejecting; he is ready to sing here, only if he has free days.
'I have no problem performing; I understand the situation in the country. I am sorry for the difficult situation you are facing. It would be great if things were calm, we would come, and celebrate with the people. But if the circumstances are as they are, nothing can be done; when it calms down and you find it to be an appropriate time, invite me, and I will come and sing for free and leave,' Petrosyan relayed Dogg's words.
The state had allocated $6 million for the concert show featuring Snoop Dogg. The rapper has received the payment without singing. During that period, rumors circulated that $1.8 million out of the $6 million was Snoop Dogg's fee, and another $250,000 accounted for riders’ payments, including food, hotel, cars, and so on. As we understood, he did receive the fee: 'He has not returned the money and will not return it,' said Makar Petrosyan.
From his interactions with the rapper, Makar Petrosyan realized that the mega-star has a special affection for Armenians. He even noticed that his eyes shine during their conversation. When asked what the shine was about, he replied, 'I have good Armenian friends whom I love very much; that's why I also love Armenians,' said Makar Petrosyan.
