Investigative Committee Warns: A Video Featuring the Prime Minister's Voice and Image is a Scam

The Investigative Committee has issued a statement noting that "A report has been received regarding a video posted and circulated on the social network 'Facebook', likely utilizing artificial intelligence tools, in which the Prime Minister of Armenia supposedly announces that by joining a website named 'Libra', developed in collaboration with Mark Zuckerberg, one can earn 100,000 AMD daily. This method attempts to exploit the trust of Armenian citizens and deceive them into participating in programs of unknown origin, ultimately defrauding them of their money.

In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated in the Cybercrime and High-Tech Crimes Investigation Department of the Chief Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, based on the criteria outlined in Articles 44-255 of the RA Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.
