After Meeting with Armenians from Artsakh, Shahramanyan Makes a Statement
In Yerevan, the meeting between the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Samvel Shahramanyan, and a group of local Armenians has concluded, following which Shahramanyan issued a statement.
“I just had a meeting with a group of citizens and provided clarifications regarding the key issues they raised. Most of these are social in nature, and answers to all questions have been given. We are also ready to inventory common needs and present them to the relevant authorities; not all issues can be resolved by us.
We have decided to allocate two rooms here for people to voluntarily record the needs of others, and we will address these matters,” Shahramanyan said. “Other issues concern political matters. I apologize to everyone, but there are questions I cannot publicly address due to the significant dangers they pose. I kindly ask you to limit yourselves to this.”
“Our doors are open to resolve your issues. I urge our fellow Armenians from Artsakh to remain sober and vigilant regarding these matters. It is not necessary to express provocations among each other; I have never refused to answer your questions. Now, I ask you to disperse and attend to your own affairs. I am sure you have questions; patience is required to navigate this situation,” he continued.
“I reiterate, we must do everything to avoid endangering the Republic of Armenia and the future of Artsakh. There are questions that I am unable to clarify or answer. If there is someone with individual concerns, I am here, ready to listen, please come forward,” Shahramanyan concluded before entering the building. Citizens then questioned him about the situation, asking,
