The results of the Yerevan city council elections held on September 17, 2023, prompt a reflection on many issues. This was stated by Tigran Avinyan, the sole candidate for mayor, during the city council session for the election of the mayor.

“But the elections also provided answers to several fundamental questions and registered important realities. The official election results accurately reflect the voting picture of the citizens who went to the polling stations. The distribution map of mandates would look fundamentally different if just 53 votes were distributed a little differently,” he said.
