VIDEO: Putin on His Visit to Armenia
Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that he is in constant contact with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Responding to a journalist's question regarding Pashinyan's absence from the CIS summit, whether a Putin-Pashinyan meeting is planned, and whether the Russian president has been invited to Armenia, he stated: “We understand that Pashinyan is preoccupied with the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh, there is currently a tragedy in Armenia, and he doesn’t have time to travel.”
“In the event of a normal situation, I will go to them (Armenia), they will come, he (Pashinyan) will come. We have a corresponding working agenda. All our services, including the Foreign Ministry, are in contact. Work does not stop,” the Russian president said.
It is worth noting that the Armenian National Assembly has ratified the Rome Statute of the ICC, to which the Russian Foreign Ministry has expressed its dissatisfaction. Earlier, the ICC issued an arrest warrant for the Russian president.
